The Surge, Frontier Energy Network’s Monthly Newsletter

Welcome to April’s edition of The Surge – designed to keep you connected with all that’s happening within the Frontier Energy Network and across our Global Summits. It's been an incredibly busy time for our team, we're happy to share insight into our work and what's coming up...

Africa Energies Summit

Less Than a Month To Go

“The Africa Energies Summit is one of the very best events I have attended in my career.” ...once you've attended, you're a convert!

This is the time of year we absolutely love – the last few weeks before the Africa Energies Summit comes to fruition. With over 70 (count them!) speakers confirmed so far, we're in no doubt that this year’s Agenda is the best yet – packed with insight and conversation around Africa’s oil & energy industry, from upstream announcements and investment opportunities through to government promotion and renewable energy projects on the Continent.

If you’ve already got your ticket, we suggest you keep yourself up to date with the latest agenda developments on our Summit App. With the list of speakers, attending companies and governments being added to every day, you’ll want to plan your visit to a “T” - so it pays to keep in the loop.

Government Zone

One of the Africa Energies Summit’s defining features is the platform we create for African governments to share their vision and opportunities with attending companies and organisations. We look forward to welcoming Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, The Gambia and Uganda to London in May!

Last month, our Government and NOC Licensing Sponsor, ANPG Angola announced that September will see it proceed with the launching of the Tender for the Award of Petroleum Concessions "2023 Bid Round" for oil and gas exploration in the Onshore Congo and Kwanza Basins.

There’s no doubt that this will be high on the conversation agenda at next month’s Summit – why not read the full story here.

Ladies from the Charity Gogo Olive, Zimbabwe

We’re delighted to announce that the Africa Energies Summit continues to support the incredible Zimbabwean charity, Gogo Olive.

Providing employment and hope to women who are beginning their rehabilitation journey, following a spell in prison, this is a small charity doing big things and we’re incredibly proud to contribute to the work that it does.
