NUPRC will showcase the Nigeria 2024 License Round at the Africa Energies Summit

Frontier is delighted to announce that the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) will showcase the Nigeria 2024 License Round at Africa’s Premier Global Energy Conference, the Africa Energies Summit in London, 14th – 16th May.

Engr Gbenga Komolafe, Commission Chief Executive, NUPRC will lead the delegation to London to make the announcement and engage with the c-level industry attendees.

In an exciting offering, there are a total of 12 new oil blocks and seven deep offshore assets from the previous bid round available. Among these are six greenfield oil blocks on the continental shelf, four deep offshore blocks, and two onshore blocks in the Niger Delta.

We are honoured to assist NUPRC in highlighting these opportunities alongside our key Partner and Sponsor, TGS.

For the bid round, TGS offers a suite of offshore subsurface data, including seismic, multibeam, coring, and geochemical programmes - the first of its kind in the region. The data covers approximately 31,900sq. km over four available offshore blocks and spans water depths from approx. 1,100m to 2,100m, offering fresh insights to prospective bidders for exploration risk management. Bidding, overseen by the NUPRC, is scheduled to conclude by January 2025.

Join Engr Gbenga Komolafe, NUPRC and TGS at the Africa Energies Summit!
